Time and Place

The teaching will be held January 12-14, 2009, at Tergar Monastery in Bodhgaya, India, following the 26th Kagyu Monlam prayer festival. there will be two teaching sessions each day. 9 to 11am and 3 to 5pm.

For Whom

This teaching is primarily intended for students from Western countries, addressing their own particular needs and situations. Students from Asian countries are welcome but may be asked to sit in the back or outside, depending on the available space.

Translation

The teachings will be translated into English. There will also be translation over FM radio into other major European languages, as well as Chinese and Korean.

Dana

There is no fee for the teachings, but participants will have the opportunity to make teaching gifts and offerings to His Holiness.

Registration

Please register here by January 1, 2009. you will be asked to show your passport and provide two passport-sized photos when you arrive at the teaching. If you do not register, you are welcome to attend, but you will have to sit outside and watch the teachings on largescreen TV.
